Finnish Scooterclub (SSC) was started in 1984 by scooter enthusiasts. Today we have almost 300 members all over the country. It doesn't matter which scooter you have, whether it's a Vespa, Lambretta or a newer brand; everyone is welcome to our club! SSC publishes a membership magazine called "Potkulauta" four times per year.
Finnish Scooterclub is a member of the international Vespa Organisation FIV (Federation internationale des Vespa Clubs). The club also works actively on museum registration matters and co-works with the Finnish Veteran Motorcycle Club having two scooter experts in the Helsinki area.
In 2004 SSC celebrated it's 20 Years yubilee and organized the first international scooter weekend Sauna'n'Run. It was the biggest run ever in Finland, gathering 100 scooterists from around Scandinavia. This year we organized the second succesful Sauna'n'Run. Plans for next year's activities are currently being made.
